What aesthetic styles does Midnight Rebellion carry?

Midnight Rebellion specializes in gothic, punk, witchy, horror, rock & roll, metal, industrial, cyber, rockabilly, dark romantic, and alternative fashion styles. We carry clothing, accessories, jewelry, footwear, and home decor inspired by underground music, horror culture, occult aesthetics, tattoo art, and alternative subcultures.

What does Midnight Rebellion sell?

We are predominantly a fashion store, but we also like to make it possible for people to dress up their homes with home decor. In terms of fashion we sell women's and men's clothing (graphic tees, tops, skirts and pants, footwear, stockings and lingerie, and dresses, jackets and hoodies, corsets), fashion accessories (belts and harnesses, purses and bags, wallets, sunglasses, parasols and umbrellas, gloves hats & scarves, hair accessories and even phone cases), and jewelry (necklaces, earrings and bracelets for both women and men, including band jewelry). In terms of home decor, we sell prints and canvases, throws and blankets, kitchen and dining wares, skate decks, decor for your yard and other collectible decor. 

Is Midnight Rebellion independently owned?

Yes. Midnight Rebellion is a woman-owned independent alternative fashion business operated by a longtime member of the gothic and alternative fashion community (I also own and run Black Orchid Couture since 2008). The store focuses on curated gothic, punk, witchy, horror, and underground fashion brands, accessories, jewelry, and home decor.

Is Midnight Rebellion an official Alchemy Gothic retailer?

Yes we are. Midnight Rebellion carries officially sourced Alchemy Gothic jewelry, accessories, and home decor. Authentic Alchemy of England / Alchemy Gothic is made in UK from fine English pewter, if it's not stamped with England and Alchemy, then it's not authentic Alchemy. Midnight Rebellion is operated by a longtime alternative fashion retailer who has been selling Alchemy Gothic since 2008 through the related business Black Orchid Couture.

Do you carry plus sizes?

Yes we do! We feel that it's so important to cater to ALL body sizes and shapes, we are all beautiful! Depending on the brand, our sizes can range from XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL and even 6XL! It is brand specific, and we make sure the size choices are visible on all pages so that you don't have to go searching for it.

Do you ship internationally?

It's another yes! For the most part, most items can ship internationally. Some items may not be able to be shipped internationally, and some countries are excluded, but for the majority of situations and items, yes we will be able to ship internationally. If there is something you really want to get your hands on and it seems that the option isn't available, you are welcome to contact us so we can discuss the possibilities.

What is the connection between Midnight Rebellion and Black Orchid Couture?

I, Sara, the owner of Midnight Rebellion, opened up Black Orchid Couture as a brick and mortar boutique specializing in goth, punk and rockabilly fashion in my home town of Albuquerque, NM in 2008. Due to life circumstances, I moved the business entirely online and have continuously sold some of the brands I still sell today, Alchemy Gothic, Black Market Art, Femme Metale, Hades Footwear as well as some now defunct brands like Too Fast Clothing, Sourpuss Clothing and Retro-a-go-go. Are your products authentic?

Yes. Midnight Rebellion carries officially sourced products from authorized alternative fashion brands and artists including Alchemy Gothic, Kreepsville 666, The Pretty Cult, Black Market Art, Murder Apparel, Vera's Eyecandy, and more.

What brands does Midnight Rebellion carry?

Do you restock sold out items?

Some items may be restocked depending on brand availability, while others may be limited edition or discontinued. If there is a specific item you are hoping to see return, feel free to contact us.

How quickly do orders ship?

Processing times vary by brand and item type, but tracking information is provided once an order ships. Many items ship directly from our partner brands and suppliers. You can see the shipping time of each brand here on our shipping policies page. 

Does Midnight Rebellion carry gothic home decor?

Yes. We carry gothic and alternative home decor including wall art, blankets and throws, kitchen wares, decor, collectibles, skate decks, and other dark aesthetic pieces.

Do you sell officially licensed band merchandise?

Yes, we carry officially licensed band collaborations and music-inspired designs such as band tees and band jewelry. Product listings will specify official collaborations when applicable.

Do you carry men's alternative fashion?

Yes. Midnight Rebellion carries men's gothic, punk, metal, horror, and alternative clothing, accessories and jewelry.

Do you carry gothic jewelry?

Absolutely. Jewelry is one of our favorite categories. We carry gothic, occult, horror, rock & roll, and alternative jewelry including necklaces, earrings, bracelets, rings, and statement pieces for both women and men. You can see the entire jewelry collection here.

Do you sell alternative footwear and platform shoes?

Yes. We carry alternative footwear including platform shoes, boots, heels, creepers, gothic footwear, and statement styles from brands like Hades Footwear and Hot Chocolate Design.

Is your jewelry hypoallergenic and safe for sensitive skin?

Yes, most of our jewelry is designed with sensitive skin in mind. Alchemy pieces are made from fine English pewter and are nickel- and lead-free. Earrings from this range use hypoallergenic steel posts or hooks. Controse Jewelry is made from stainless steel, which is generally well tolerated and resistant to tarnish. Femme Metale pieces are crafted from 925 sterling silver, a high-quality metal often chosen for sensitive skin. If you have known metal sensitivities, we recommend checking individual product materials listed on each product page before ordering.

Do you carry vegan-friendly clothing, footwear, and accessories?

Yes, everything we carry is vegan-friendly. All items described as “leather” are made from vegan leather (PU or synthetic materials). Our goal is to keep the collection aligned with alternative aesthetics without using animal-derived materials. This includes footwear and accessories from brands such as: Hades Footwear, Kreepsville 666, Original Underground, Vera's Eyecandy and Witchwood. Can I change or cancel my alternative fashion order after it is placed?

Orders may sometimes be modified or canceled, but it depends on the brand and how quickly the order is processed. Because many of our items ship directly from our brand partners, some orders are transmitted to fulfillment very quickly and cannot always be intercepted once placed.

In general: Some brands may allow cancellations if requested shortly after ordering. Others process orders immediately and cannot cancel once submitted. Once an order has shipped, it cannot be changed or canceled. If you need to request a change or cancellation, contact us as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to help.

How do I know what size to order since you carry so many different brands?

Each brand we carry follows its own sizing system, so sizing can vary between items. To help with this: Every product page includes a brand-specific size chart
Measurements are provided so you can compare against your own body measurements
If you're unsure, you can always contact us for guidance before ordering. When in doubt, we recommend sizing based on measurements rather than relying on your usual letter size, since alternative fashion brands often differ from standard sizing.

Are your platform shoes and boots true to size or should I size up?

Fit depends on the brand and style: Hades Footwear generally fits true to size, but they only come in whole sizes. If you are between sizes, we typically recommend sizing down to the nearest full size for pumps and sandals, and up to the next size for boots.
Hot Chocolate Design shoes also tend to fit true to size, with whole sizes only. 

All shoes and boots listings include detailed size charts with measurements in centimeters and inches. Important note on sizing charts: In most footwear charts, measurements refer to foot length, not insole length. The best method is to measure your foot from heel to toe and compare that measurement to the chart.

How should I care for and wash delicate alternative clothing fabrics like velvet, lace, or faux leather?

To preserve the quality and longevity of your pieces, we recommend gentle care:

Velvet & lace: Hand wash cold or use a delicate cycle inside a laundry bag
Faux leather: Wipe clean with a damp cloth; avoid soaking or machine washing
Printed or embellished pieces: Turn inside out before washing and avoid high heat
Drying: Always air dry, avoid tumble drying, which can damage structure and prints. When in doubt, gentler is always better. These fabrics are designed for aesthetic impact, and careful washing helps them last longer.

What band tees and band jewelry do you feature?
